Letter from Hermon to Blanche. He writes he is going to be in a opera, "The Pirates of Penzance". The daughters of professors are playing the girls parts which is why he tried out. He asks what she thinks of Mr. Grover's marriage and then gives his thoughts on it. He discusses how they are all upset with the decision to not be given passes to go to a game. He then goes on about the fraternities and how they are not allowed to meet but they cannot stop them from all showing up at various eateries around town at the same time. There is no date but most likely written in the fall of 1918.
