Letter from Claybo to Blanche. He writes he has been so busy he has not sent any letters for a week. He has been learning to be a corporal which has responsibilities. He also writes that even though it looks like the war may be over he wants to stay in Army. He will stay in school as long as Uncle Sam is paying for it but afterwards he is remaining in the military or going to work. He mentions going to Dover to the NH State football game and having a good night. He says they have not been issued uniforms yet but have taken measurements and he is expecting to get his rifle tomorrow. He asks Blanche to tell his mother he has cured his cough and his healthy but it is hard to remain so with them drilling in all kinds of weather. He asks how her school teaching is going and concludes to send his love to her folks and lots for herself and he will come see her soon. Letter is undated but mostly likely in the autumn of 1918.
