- Letter from Hermon to Blanche. He writes that he is glad that she will go to the game with him. He writes how Curtis Haines and Myron Vincent came down with a crowd and how he and Lew went back with them and the adventures they had seeing people and then on the way back how it rained and they were late. He was not caught getting back but Lew was. He also heard he might get shipped but everything is uncertain. He was able to act as corporal again and was actually appointed Lance Corporal by the Lieutenant. He says he likes the military and chemistry but it is hard to do both at the same time. He discusses the weather and more about what is going on. He concludes with "Until Saturday". Letter is undated but based off of other letters from Hermon this was probably written in November 1918.
