The Haseltine-Hazelton Family Papers consist of correspondence, business papers, photographs, deeds, and miscellaneous ephemera. Personal letters in this collection were written to Mary Haseltine Emery (1824-1903). Letters are from her brother William Haseltine (1809-1897), his wife Harriet (1828-1909), and her sister-in-law, Katherine Sherman Haseltine. They concern matters such as the deaths of babies, health of relatives and neighbors, and visits. The collection also contains a few of William Haseltine's business records (receipts, bills) and Haseltine family deeds (1804-1850) for various properties in Pembroke and Allenstown, NH. Also included are two insurance policies: one on a public house near Suncook, NH, and one on a church vestry in Suncook. There are two albums of photographs of family and friends (one intact, one disassembled), some but not all of which are identified. Few are dated.
