- Letter from unknown individual to "Blannie" though letter in the letter the author addresses Blanche directly. The authors writes she is a nice girl to write to Manny so often. She wants to hear how her and dad spent time in the city and that mama called and had a pleasing telegram. Says can see she is at Hotel Belmont waiting for "Clay" but the author alludes that they know it is not Clay she is waiting for. The author then tells how they went to 2 Colmbia Dr which no doubt Dad told her and then she returned yesterday. The author writes about having a nice bed fellow who complained they snored and left. The authors says they are getting strong and is over the cold they had. Also writes how they are lone that day and why. Writes about how proud she must feel of her certificate and should have it framed. Then goes on that the printing in her letter was fine. Concludes that must get lunch and wishes to write more. On the back of the envelope is says "From your "Isadore" of padded cell no. 62". It is unclear who wrote this as they refer to themselves as Manny in the letter, Isadore on the envelope but the content of the letter reads as though they are a sibling to Blanche but Blanche's only sibiling is Gloria so it is unclear why she would go by Manny or Isadore. No date is provided it is hard to tell when this was written except prior to Mr. Nutting's death in 1926.
