- Letter from Alice Stone in East Orange, NJ, to her husband, Robert Stone, dated January 25, 1921. In the letter, Alice updates her husband on her stay in East Orange, noting the weather was so icy and windy that she almost cancelled her trip to New York. She spends a good portion of the letter detailing her travel to New York and her visit to an art museum, noting some of the art and artists she saw in the show, including Tarbell, Clemenceau, and Hoover. She writes that Mary is doing better and the baby has lost three quarters of a pound, though she looks healthy. Alice ends the letter with a request for letters from their children and sends her husband lots of love.
