- Letter from Harriet Dame at Camp Beaufort to Anna Berry in Concord, NH, dated January 2, 1862. The letter mentions Dame writing eight pages, but only four are in the collection. In the letter, Dame writes of the New Year and how so much has changed in 1861. She goes on to discuss their camp, the firing of their gunboat towards the rebel camps, her work, and of the friends she has made.
