- Guest register for the Winnipisseogee [Winnipiseogee] House in Alton Bay, NH, with entries dating from March 12, 1867 to April 1, 1870. The majority of entries include the date, name, town of residence, room number, and sometimes the time. A few entries include other notes such as the December 15, 1867 entry for a group's first trip across the Lake, of which they broke through the ice; the January 15, 1869 entry for the House Quadrille Band; and the March 31, 1869 entry for George Hill and W. Ricker, who are listed as "drunk" and "very drunk". J. H. Downing is listed at the top of each page as the Agt. The register was printed by Thomas Groom & Co.
