- Undated letter from Fred to Governor Robert O. Blood. In the letter, Fred thanks Blood for the kind words in his letter, but notes the report of his father's death was greatly exaggerated. He goes on to tell of how well, and alive, his father is and that is was a cousin who passed away. He ends the letter by expressing his gratitude that friendship can go deeper than politics.
