Letter from George Blood in West Springfield, MA, to Governor Robert O. Blood, dated January 9, 1941. In the letter, George notes he has received a letter from an individual in the Railway Mail Service regarding the open position and has enclosed a copy of the letter, without the author's name to protect his identity. He goes on to inquire if Robert could contact Senator Bridges about furnishing a letter of recommendation. The attached copy of a letter notes that New Hampshire is not represented in official positions and therefore it would be best to obtain a recommendation from a New Hampshire official.
