- Letter from Humphrey Chadbourn in Berwick, ME, to William Whipple in Portsmouth, NH, dated March 11, 1782. In the letter, Chadbourn notes he received Whipple's letter and would come to Portsmouth to discuss Mr. Moffatt's note against him immediately, but he has been unwell and the town has smallpox. He goes on to inquire about the specifics of the note against him.
