- Contract between Joseph Whipple, on behalf of Mary Whipple, and Richard Haley regarding a year long lease of a portion of her farm in Kittery, ME. Dated March 20, 1779, the contract provides a description of the land he is allowed to work on as well as the conditions of the lease, which include no cutting wood without express permission, maintaining the premisis, and paying the taxes for his portion of the land.
