- Letter from John Wentworth in Chicago, IL, to Ephraim N. Hidden, dated September 25, 1880. In the letter, Wentworth writes that Davis has been on his best behavior. He goes on to state Hansen has offered $50 for the land in order to get out of the scrape and inquires if he should take it. Wentworth believes Hiidden should hold on to the land as it will only increase in value over time.
