Letter from Nick [Lawrence Carter] of Irving Trust Company in New York, NY, to Frank R. Kenison in Concord, NH, dated November 20, 1958. In the letter, Nick discusses his son's application to Dartmouth in the class of '63. He goes on to discuss his son's education and achievements and inquires if Kenison can put in a good word regarding the family, as Kenison has only met his son once and therefore cannot provide a full letter of recommendation. Attached is a photocopy of an article from the New York World Telegram and Sun, which mentions his son, Tom Carter.
