- Letter from John W. King in Manchester, NH, to Frank R. Kenison in Concord, NH, dated May 26, 1969. In the letter, King notes he has enclosed a copy of a letter to Glenn R. Winters of the American Judicature Society and to representative democratic lawyers, in order to inform Kenison of what he has been up to. The enclosed letter from King to Glenn R. Winters in Chicago, IL, is dated May 26, 1969, and discusses King's efforts to lead a movement urging President Nixon to appoint Kenison to the United States Supreme Court. He goes on to inquire how far he is able to participate in this movement as he is State Director of the American Judicature Society and understands the Society does not provide political recommendations. A second attached letter to William H. Craig in Manchester, NH, from King is dated May 23, 1969, and discusses his plan to recommend Kenison to the United States Supreme Court. A list of individuals who agree with this recommendation is also included.
