Letter from Louis C. Wyman at the House of Representatives in Washington, DC, to Chief Justice Frank R. Kenison in Concord, NH, dated April 20, 1970. In the letter, Wyman states he hopes he isn't embarrassing Kenison by continually recommending him for the vacancy in the Supreme Court. He notes another contendor, Judge Blackmun, is the same age as Kenison so that cannot rule Kenison out. Attached is a letter from William E. Timmons, Assistant to the President, in Washington, DC, to Wyman dated April 10, 1970. In this letter, Timmons thanks Wyman for his telegram recommending Kenison be nominated as Associate Justice to the United States Supreme Court and notes his recommendation will be taken under careful consideration.
