- Letter from Frank R. Kenison to Louis H. Burke in San Francisco, CA, dated July 29, 1969. In the letter, Kenison notes he recently returned from the Appellate Judges Seminar and is glad to hear of the movement to appoint Burke to the United States Supreme Court. He goes on to state while he had no hesitation in acting on Burke's behalf, he cannot support any candidate at the moment because there has been a movement in New Hampshire to recommend himself to the Supreme Court. Kenison notes he did not initiate this movement and does not believe he has any chance at winning the nomination, but must obtain a release form from the congressional delegation before supporting anyone.
