Scope and Content:

This series contains records relating to the New Hampshire Bankers Association from 1892 to 1992. These materials include meeting minutes for the Association, as well as for Group 1, Group 2, and the Insurance Trust. Other materials include the Association's constitution, meeting programs, the New Hampshire Bankers Association and New Hampshire Association of Savings Bank merger, member directories, the New Hampshire Banker publication, trademark and trade name registrations, and tax records. The tax records consist of questionnaires filled out by member banks and dated from 1927 to 1928. The tax records folder has been moved to box 10 due to its size. The early meeting programs primarily consist of a menu, sometimes with an accompanying program of events. The later programs contain a detailed list of events, list of sponsors, members, committees, and brief biographies of officers. For the 1960s and the 1970s, programs include a separate "Ladies Programs." Also included in this series are programs for meetings with the New Hampshire Association of Savings Banks and the Northern Bankers Association. Other materials in this series are member directories, The New Hampshire Banker, and information on the merger between the New Hampshire Association of Savings Banks and the New Hampshire Bankers Association.
