Scope and Content:
The Concord Bank Records, 1804-1850, are from the first charter of the Concord Bank. The bulk of the records cover the years 1806 to 1825. The records include vouchers, stock shares, checks, and statements that detail the daily operations. There are annual reports and correspondence that give an overview of operations. Bernard Chase, Captain Nehemiah Freeman, and Charles Walker have financial papers in the collection. The records also contain some drafts by the Abbot Downing Company for the time period of December 1919 to 1920. These are not drawn from Concord Bank and appear to be unrelated to the collection.
