- Account book in the hand of Edward Sturtevant of Concord, NH, which provides a list of cases to be presented to the Grand Jury for the August 1858 term, as well as payments, fees, and expenses made to witnesses and those on payroll. Court cases provide the name of the accused, the witnesses testifying, the charge, and the date of the offense. The cases include such charges as assault and battery, theft, breaking and entering, adultery, and selling liquor.
