- Letter from Edward E. Sturtevant in Richmond, VA, to his brother George H. Sturtevant, dated October 21, 1851. In the letter, Edward states in a previous letter he promised he was sending money to his father. Unfortunately, he is unable to obtain a check that can be cashed in New Hampshire. He notes he can obtain one for New York, but New York money is not current in New Hampshire.
