Scope and Content:

Photograph album of the New Hampshire State Senators for the years 1883 and 1884. The album has been deconstructed, though the original album and photographs are still together. Most of the senators for that year are included with the exception of George K. Harvey. Daniel Stark Dinsmore's photograph is also absent because he passed away in 1883, so his successor Jonathan M. Taylor is included. Senate clerks are also contained in the album. The collection includes a copy of L.B. Brown's Biographical Sketches of the Governor, Councilors, and Members of the Senate and House of Representatives of the N.H. Legislature for 1883-1884. The majority of the photographs were taken by W.G.C. Kimball of Concord, NH.
