- Letter from Joseph Whipple at Dartmouth to Col. Edward Bucknam in Lancaster, NH, dated July 14, 1759. In the letter, Whipple inquires about Bucknam coming to visit him in Darmouth, as he is too tired from his journey to travel to Lancaster. He goes on to note what he wishes to discuss with Bucknam, including the plan on finishing a road and warrants for the arrest of two suspects.
