- Account book of Edward Whitman, a farmer and general store owner, in Henniker, NH, dated from 1803 to 1811, with the bulk of entries from 1803 to 1805. The account book is titled "Ledger G." Whitman sold such items as rum, wine, tea, molasses, nails, butter, milk, and leather. An entry under James Morrison is for "Diging the Grave of Edward / Whitman (Senior)" on November 8, 1805. The back inside cover of the volume includes newspaper clippings, such as the marriage announcement between Edward Whitman and Mary Goss, which occurred on February 13, 1811.
