Selchow of Hopkinton, This valiant little roaster propelled on its high wheels by a two-cylinder horizontally opposed engine. Steered by a tiller and sporting a piano-box body, the Sears resembled a buggy and could have dropped back to the horse-drawn division without exciting comment. This vehicle was made for Sears, Roebuck and Company and was sold through catalogue for about $365.00 in 1909."
