Photographic print of an ox cart in the New Hampshire Historical Society's Concord Coach Parade in Concord, NH, dated October 30, 1957. The caption states, "New Hampshire Historical Society Concord Coach Parade October 30. 1957 This very ancient ox cart was the property of James Wiley Dodge of Sanbornton, N.H. In Mr. Dodge's opinion the construction of the cart, featuring a wooden axle, set its date somewhere in the early 1800's On the right is the three horse drawn brewery wagon owned by Norman Hubbard of Laconia. This great wagon constructed by Abbot-Downing around 1880 and weighing approximately 5,100 pounds, in the parade it was drawn by a spectacular hitch of three horses abreast. Mr. Hubbard held the reins with his Dalmatian pup beside him."
