- Letter from William M. Kennard in New Orleans, LA, to Ichabod Goodwin and S. E. Cous in Portsmouth, NH, dated March 10, 1849. In the letter, Kennard notes that Goodwin arrived on the morning of the 3rd and made it to the city on the 5th. He goes on to state they are now discharging their cargo and are looking for a good freight for European port.
