- Letter from G. B. Cumming in Milford, CT, to Ichabod Goodwin in Portsmouth, NH, dated September 20, 1850. In the letter, Cumming notes he arrived safely to Milford on the 17th. He goes on to state they should get established quickly in the city and then spends the rest if the letter discussing freight rates and the number of vessels traveling between ports.
