- Letter from Charles W. Tandy in Brooklyn, NY, to Uncle Simon [Simon Merrill Sanborn], dated February 18, 1862. In the letter, Tandy notes he visited Harrison Sanborn at the New York Hospital and he is much worse than when he visited the week before. He notes Harrison will have a long recovery ahead of him, if he survives. He notes he will be visiting Harrison again tomorrow and will write to Simon about any updates.
