- This collection consists of one stock certificate for the Sewall's Falls Locks and Canal sold to William Pecker of Merrimack, NH, on August 17, 1834. The document was signed by the Proprieters' Clerk, William Webster, as well as the Directors: Stephen Ambrose, Joseph Evans, John Eastman, Jr., and Robert Eastman. The company was raising funds to build a canal to bypass Sewall's Falls in Concord, NH.
