- Letter from John Grimes to his sister. Letter written from Troy, NH, March 15, 1858. They have had a quiet three months in Troy since the completion of the Town Hall, attending a concert and town meeting. The Universalists held a meeting in the Town Hall, but the Grimeses did not attend. They have not yet sent Abigail Dwinell's box to Keene, but hope someone will come to visit soon. John asks after Alexander Hamilton's schooling. They would have gone to visit if Mary Louisa's health were better. John's health is good, and the spot on his face has almost entirely disappeared.
