- Letter from Mary Grimes to her family. Letter written from Troy, NH, January 1, 1858. Mary asks them not to be alarmed at the receipt of a second letter in so short a time; she has forgotten some things and would like them sent to her by train. The family in Troy has received their letters and she hopes the family will come as plan, though they should be cautious about the cars. She is well, though tired. Should Abigail Dwinell Grimes come she should bring her blanket to sleep in.
