- Letter from Augustus D. Ayling, Adjutant General in Concord, NH, to Captain Bion I. Brown of Company D of the 1st Regiment in the New Hampshire National Guard in Dover, NH, dated April 16, 1889. In the letter, Ayling notes he cannot send more than 50 uniforms per company and that he could replaced any worn supplies if they are returned. He goes on to inquire about the size of the uniform Brown was requesting.
