- Letter from Secretary of the Navy Gideon Welles in Washington, DC, to Robert H. Wyman, dated May 10, 1865. In the letter, Welles discharges Wyman from his duties at the Navy Department and gives him orders to go to New York to the Colorado. Welles also expresses the thanks of the department for the execution of the duties he has been entrusted with for the past two years.
