Letter from Frances M. Abbott in Concord, NH, to Jessie dated July 9, 1922. In the letter, Abbott writes that she and the children went to Jessie's house on Sunday afternoon and after ringing the bell, began looking for the pine she described. They found the pine, the bird, and the bird's nest with three blue eggs. She notes she has never seen a cuckoo's nest, but has heard the black-billed cuckoo for two months. Abbott goes on to discuss her motor-trips this season including to the top of Uncanoonuc and to Durham, noting the views and birds she has seen. She goes on to state she gave a bird talk to the Londonderry Pomona Grange and describes the area.
