- Document announcing the upcoming publication of the fourth volume of "Whip & Spur" published by Carleton & Harvey of Newport, NH. Dated July 22, 1852, the document notes they started publishing "Whip & Spur" in 1839 and will continue to do so for the Presidential Campaign of 1852 with three months of weekly publications beginning August 28th. The prospectus includes a political cartoon and notes they have engaged the services of Edmund Burke, whose articles will appear in their paper.
