The collection's photographs range from the school's opening in 1962 to its closure in 1988. A bulk of the collection is from 1986-1988, possibly to make the school's 1988 yearbook. The collection also includes a folder of "photograph identification sheets," although it is unclear what these sheets were used for. Items of not include photographs of individuals who came to Hawthorne College, including Geraldine Ferraro (box 1, folder 21), George W. Romney (box 2, folder 22), and the English rock band The Animals (box 1, folder 3). The collection also highlights Dr. Harry P.
