- Certificate certifying that Miss Mary Phelps, aged 13, has repeated all the answers of the two minor Catechisms in the Evangelical Primer in two portions, without being prompted or corrected more than three times in the whole. The certificate is signed by Susan Clagett and dated June 11, 1817. The reverse of the certificate states that Miss Mary Phelps has entered the first class of Catechumens. \n
