- Partial letter with a note stating it is in the hand of Frederic Adams, Jr. The letter consists of an extract from Mr. Noyes' letter to Katie, which was received April 11, 1863. The extract states her father is still alive and aware, but has difficulty breathing and that his doctors don't believe he will live much longer.
