- Letter from Frederic Adams in Venice, Italy, to his daughter, Nancy, dated July 16, 1911. In the letter, Adams describes their breakfast and the pigeons they have been feeding. He goes on to state they are expecting a gondolier tomorrow morning and provides a drawing of the ornament on the gondola. Adams ends the letter by stating there is not much room for a little girl with them as there are no fields or woods to run around in.
