- Poem written by Frederic Adams titled "To R. A. A." Dated October 21, 1881, the poem was written by Adams for his daughter, Rebecca Appleton Adams, on her birth. A note by Rebecca Adams dated March 21, 1939 is on the back. The note states that Frederic Adams composed the poem on the walk to his mother and father's house to tell the news of his daughter's birth.
