- Letter from Edward Brigham in Dumfries, VA, to his father in Nashua, NH, dated April 23, 1863. In the letter, Ed states his regiment left Falmouth, VA, on April 14 and have arrived in the town of Dumfries, VA. He also states that he has received a letter from his brother Charles "Lewis" Brigham who is also fighting in the war.
