- Letter from Charles L. Brigham in Newport News, Virginia, to his father dated February 25, 1863. In the letter, Charles writes that the whole 9th New Hampshire Army marched in review for General Smith. He then tells his father that he has made some improvements to his tent and explains what he does on guard duty.
