- Letter from S. A. Chadwick in Winchendon, MA, to Charles A. Brigham in Nashua, NH, dated September 1, 1863. In the letter, Chadwick tells of the death of their daughter, Nellie A. Chadwick, to dysentery in August. The letter goes on to mourn Nellie before discussing Frank's illness (scarlet fever), which he has had since July.
