- Letter from Richard Taft at Profile House in Franconia Notch, NH, to Nathaniel White dated July 2, 1878, informing Nathaniel of the fee for the engrossing clerk and the fee for the project. According to an act passed in 1877, for every $1000 capital, 50 cents must be paied to the state. Taft also agrees for a meeting of the grantees as soon as possible, perferrably at Profile House, but if not in Littleton, NH.
