Two letters on one document. The first letter is from Sarah Low in Dover, NH, to Martha dated January 16, 1844. In the letter, Low describes two parties she went to: one at A. Horten and the other at Mary Christies. The second letter is from Sarah Low to William dated January 25, 1844. In this letter, Low notes she did not want to write, but was told she had to practice by Aunt Elizabeth. She notes his letter to Mary talked of parties and sleigh rides, but that she feels he is "too old a boy" to go to those. Low goes on to discuss the family, that it was twenty-three degrees below zero, and that she expects a reply.
