- Letter from Benning M. Bean in Washington, DC, to John Wingate Weeks, dated April 27, 1834. He goes on to discuss politics, noting that New Hampshire is standing firm while the rest of the country is dealing with panic and alarm. Bean continues by telling of the current administration and the struggle of the bank.
