- Letter from Thomas Chandler in Bedford, NH, to John Wingate Weeks in Lancaster, NH, dated June 21, 1833. In the letter, Chandler notes the books they packed have arrived and he awaits Weeks' orders on what should be done with them. He goes on to note he has been so busy with farming that he has not had time to think about political affairs. He fears the people will become careless and the enemies of democracy will give them trouble.
