- Letter from John G. Neal in Lansingburgh (now Troy), NY, to Major John Wingate Weeks in Lancaster, NH, dated July 29, 1816. In the letter, Neal notes he did not receive Weeks' letter until the 27th. He goes on to respond directly to questions from Weeks, which includes discussing the warm and variable weather and that Weeks can send as many thousand Yankees along as he wants.
