- Letter from G. G. (George Grenville) Benedict in Burlington, VT, to John B. Bachelder, dated December 24, 1863. In the letter, Benedict tells of the Battle of Gettysburg, noting several statements have been false. He goes on to state he has enclosed an article he wrote for the paper, in the instance Bachelder had not read it. Also included is a drawing by Benedict of the position of the Vermont regiments.
